Double Feature

You know that scene in "Almost Famous" when William goes to the hotel and there's a couple playing guitar and singing in one of the rooms, completely oblivious to all the chaos going on mere feet away from them?

Well, I've always loved that song and I finally found it. Here's my less than perfect rendition of it (I really need to work on my strumming skills):

Oh, and the not-so-artsy gag reel.

Damn, you got some mad skills lady! I tried to learn to play the guitar after 10 years on the sax, but I quit (like a wuss) when my fingers started bleeding. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hang in there, Pants. I play since August, and when my fingers bled I just taped them a kept going. Practice, practice, practice. (and tape)

Beautiful! Do you know who sang the original? I always thought that the couple in the hotel were supposed to be Bob Dylan and Patti Smith or something.

I believe that couple was based on Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris. The song was written by Pete Droge (who was the dude in the hotel room singing it in the movie). Watch the film clip here:

You are so very talented! And that's the best compliment I could ever come up with. I really enjoyed that.

Beautiful take on a great song.
And the "not-so-artsy gag reel" was just charming.

So, so beautiful. You play very well and your voice is wonderful. Saw your comment in a pajiba article and came here, what a delightful surprise. My name is André, and I'm from Brazil. Keep practicing Sofia!!
